Bath & North East Somerset Council votes to oppose Airport Expansion
At the Bath & North East Somerset full Council meeting on 20th March 2025, Councillors voted to reaffirm its opposition to the further expansion of Bristol Airport to 15mppa. A proposal brought by Chew Valley Ward Councillor Dave Harding, supported by the PCAA Chair Louise Leeder and BAAN members Jackie Head and Steve Clarke, saw 42 votes in favour of the proposal, 2 abstentions and 0 votes against.
