BAL launched a consultation on its proposed Masterplan to expand its operations from 12mppa to 15mppa by 2040 at the end of 2024.
This proposed expansion would increase the number of aircraft movements annually from 85,990 to 100,000, and increase the number of night flights by 1000.

The PCAA responded to this consultation, detailing its full objections to the proposed further increase in passenger numbers and subsequent impacts on the surrounding areas and Parishes. The PCAA response in full can be seen here (this link will download a copy of the response).
