BAL have launched a consultation on its proposed Masterplan to expand its operations from 12mppa to 15mppa by 2040.
This proposed expansion would increase the number of aircraft movements annually from 85,990 to 100,000, and increase the number of night flights by 1000.

The PCAA have responded to planning application 23/P/2185/FU2, submitted by EPIC is relation to land SW Of Long Ashton Park And Ride Off Gurney Roundabout (A370) And Colliters Way Long Ashton.

A near-miss occurred on 4th March 2024 at Bristol Airport where an aircraft taking off had insufficient thrust. The Air Accident Investigation report can be found here and provides full details on the incident.
