Special Interest Groups


The PCAA has a number of Special Interest Groups (SIG) that focus on specific areas in relation to the Bristol Airport expansion project and related planning applications.

Planning Special Interest Group 


The Planning Special Interest Group is looking at all aspects of Airport planning, and scrutinises planning applications put forward by Bristol Airports Limited and other organisations with interests in the airport and surrounding areas.

Parking and Green Spaces Special Interest Group 


The Parking and Green Spaces SIG is focussed on parking-related matters and how airport parking is affecting local communities.

Air Space Modernisation Special Interest Group 


The Air Space Modernisation SIG focuses on how the Airport managanes it's airspace, and keeps an eye on plans and consultation activities related to this.  In particular the SIG will be paying close attention to the CAP 1616 process relating to updating the airspace above the airport, when this is published.

Noise Special Interest Group 


The Noise SIG has been set up to closely monitor issues relating to noise that arise from both the airport's operations, and the flights that depart from and arrive into Bristol Airport.
